As a driven, bubbly and ambitious Public Relations graduate who had actively pursued work experience and other career and skill developing opportunities, Zahra Haryadi was snapped up by The Creative Collective Newcastle team in July 2016.

Having excelled in her academic career, Zahra has built valuable social media and PR skills 
by working on digital and social media focussed communication/marketing strategies for Rowan Creative and being the first point of contact for a large project in Logan, Queensland for worked for Compass Housing Services (Compass).

Being based in Newcastle, NSW whilst working on this project, she gained valuable skills working virtually with a team inter-state. While in this contact centre, she also provided administrative support to Head Office in Newcastle and assisted the Marketing & Communications team with the execution and creation of internal and external communications collateral.

As the Project Support Officer & PR/Social Media Assistant with The Creative Collective, Zahra will more often than not be the first point of contact for our valued customers and will work hard to ensure an excellent customer experience from start to finish whilst supporting the growing account manager team, and servicing a range of social media and PR clients.

In her spare time, Zahra is a regular contributor to Our Rules, an online source for all things AFL, written from a female perspective. From footy stats to opinion pieces, Our Rules aims to even the playing field and get more women involved in footy talk. She also assists with social media management for the Cardiff Hawks Football Club and writes press releases for the D Majors, a group of women who have all been touched by cancer and who are a sisterhood of singing, support and friendship.
